It has been said, “Insomuch as anyone pushes you nearer to God,
they are your truest friend.” Relationship building is vital part of the
SAM’s ministry. Understanding one another leads to a stronger bond with each
other and with God. All of this “pushing & building up” one another is done
through brotherly love. Here a a few avenues:
- Journeys - last weekend over 50
Christians from here went to Branson, MO. We grew closer to God and
one another. Traveling together, sharing stories, and growing in
appreciation for other Christians are important to caring for each other.
Sacrificing for a group makes the relationship healthier. We enjoyed a
great time of worship. Guests around our group joined in singing. Thanks
to all those who made this event successful.
- The next excursion will be to
the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore, OK November 1. It is always
a time for growing closer. Building community as we discover the way God
is working in the lives of others. The scriptures tell us to “Talk about
God’s word when you go along the road and times of rest.”
