The Prime-time Christmas party has been postponed until Monday, December 16 at  6 p.m.  Hope this has not inconvenienced you and that you will be able to come on the 16th. Just need to be keeping everyone as safe as possible.

                    ($5 Covered already)

4:30 pm:      Dinner at La Fiesta in Duncan

                    (on your own)

6:00 pm:      Christmas Lights Tour - Chickasha

                    (drive by stop)

7:30 pm:      Braum’s in Tuttle

8:30 pm:      Return to Edmond Church of Christ

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY - Our senior adult ministry is quickly emerging into a vibrant form of fellowship and outreach for retired men and women. In addition to enjoyable outings such as day trips around the state of Oklahoma, this ministry also provides needs-based resources for aging individuals.

Mission

Provide a community of Christian seniors making a difference together in the Edmond Oklahoma community. Our "stated mission" is to carry out our congregation's mission statement among those 60 and better. (Certainly our mission is the same as Christ has called us to be.)

Description

Life doesn't end at retirement...and neither do opportunities to learn, grow, fellowship, and serve. An expanding senior adults ministry provides resources and opportunities for aging men and women to express their faith.

Events such as day-trips to various points of interest across the state and seminars like the "Living Happy, Living Healthy" event in Arlington, TX, provide opportunities for senior adults to enjoy fellowship while learning to deal with the unique challenges of aging.

• Game day at the church building in the Bible Hour room and not the fellowship hall on Monday August 12 starting at 1:30 p.m. It will go until about 4:30 p.m.
• Everyone is invited of all ages. Bring a friend if you desire and bring games to play and snacks to share.
• If you have any questions, please call the office or Dane Carr and we will try to answer those questions.
• This time some of our "Youth Group" will join in with our fun.
