Hunger in Haiti is at an all-time high... food prices have risen, and families are struggling to feed their children. In response, Hope for Haiti's Children has organized a combined summer lunch program and Vacation Bible School (VBS) in communities across Haiti. On Fridays, children go to their local school for a half-day VBS followed by a hot, nutritious lunch. Children also receive a bag of rice and beans to take home to their family. HFHC principals were thrilled to find out that a summer lunch program was being instituted and are reporting a great turnout from last week's kickoff event! (see photos below)
However, we need your help! For a one-time donation of $32, you can provide a child with hot meals at VBS and a supply of rice and beans for the entire summer. We prayerfully ask you to consider donating to this effort to feed hungry children both physically and spiritually. What a gift!
