Jeanetta Faye Sprayberry
Jeanetta Sprayberry was born on June 4, 1945, in Terrell, Texas. She was the only child of Bud and Dorothy Norton. Shortly after she was born, the family moved to Saginaw, Texas. Jeanetta graduated from Boswell High School in Saginaw, Texas. After high school, she briefly attended Fort Worth Christian College. Jeanetta worked as a secretary for an insurance company. She was a long-time member of the Saginaw church of Christ. Jeanetta married Dan Sprayberry on December 23, 1972, in Saginaw, Texas. She had three children: Marcy, Amy and Andy. She was a full-time mother and homemaker. Jeanetta greatly enjoyed flower gardening, her pets, desserts and sweet tea. She also enjoyed bargain hunting and finding unique treasures at garage sales and thrift stores. Jeanetta was a member of the Edmond church of Christ in Edmond, Oklahoma. Jeanetta passed from this life on Sunday, May 14, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 71.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Dan; two daughters Marcy Leonard and her husband Mike of Edmond, OK; Amy Hayes and her husband Daryl of Bartlesville, OK; one son, Andy Sprayberry of Cypress, Texas; five grandchildren, Marcus Leonard, Madison Leonard, Makenna Leonard, Spencer Hayes and Colby Hayes.
A formal visitation will be from 5:00pm – 7:00pm Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. , Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, Oklahoma.

Sweetheart Banquet 2017
The Edmond Youth Group is hosting its annual Sweetheart Banquet for everyone 60+ years old on Sunday, Feb. 12, after evening worship services. This special dinner will be in the Quad. Students will serve their honored guests and provide "entertainment" after dinner, plus the crowning of the 2017 Sweetheart. This event is a great opportunity for inter-generational involvement, so if you are in the EYG or over 60, make plans to be there!
